So like everyone is on the FnF bandwagon and it seems that all of a sudden friends and family have gained so much importance. But that's the bright side of the picture. The grim side is that Telenor has still got a long way to go before they actually have a successful mode of FnF.
The issue is that ever since Telenor started their FnF version, people expected lower call rates, longer talk times and not so frequent recharge of their account. The reality is opposite. Telenor customers are facing an issue for quiet some time that their accounts are being incorrectly charged. A call which is suppose to last 10 minutes with a charge of Rs. 5 (example) is lasting 10 minutes with a charge of Rs.20. Now who would want that?
The insider report is that Telenor still cannot figure it out how to rectify the situation. They have put their and Nokia-Siemen's engineers to have it resolved ASAP as it is only resulting in negative marketing of their product.
For people who are using Telenor FnF packages should now know that Telenor is unable to resolve the issue as we speak and they are planning to retract their product until the issue is resolved. That is a smart move if they are going to do so. Until then...enjoy burning cash!!
